Yonta was the Archimedian1 assigned to the Zariman 10-0 colony ship, responsible for the care and operation of the Reliquary Drive, as well as any other duties required of an Archimedian. Under pressure from the Orokin Executors, her Reliquary field test ultimately caused the Void jump incident – one of the most important events in the history of the Origin System. After her death and resurrection, she is now one of the Holdfasts aboard the Zariman. She studies the effects of the Void upon the Zariman and its occupants, and accepts Voidplumes from the Tenno in order to learn their secrets. Giving Voidplumes to Archimedian Yonta is the only method of obtaining Standing with the Holdfasts syndicate, aside from Universal Medallions. Yonta will also receive Voidplume Pinions directly in exchange for "Archimedian supplies": Voidplume decorations and kuva.
Idle quotes
These are un-subtitled lines that Yonta says when she is not interacting with the Tenno.
"Still not used to this."
"Why does it feel like we're moving?"
"Void readings are normal. That's nice."
"Look at all the precious little nightmares."
"Membrane's still holding… for now."
"Talk to me. I won't eat you."
"If the Archimedian Seniors could see me now…."
Greeting the Tenno
(if the Tenno has just completed the Angels of the Zariman quest) "Before you ask, no, we can't move the ship. Something I wasn't sure existed has burst through the Albrecht Membrane, and right now the Zariman is plugging that hole. Pop her out, and we'd see Void Storms from here to Mercury. Which would be fascinating, if memorably horrible. Anyway. Feel free to bring me anything you think I might be interested in. That's all!"
"So many intersections. Planes and possibilities. Hazard and luck and intent."
"There are whole decks empty except for the Angels. They're singing, like something big is coming. So… that's good."
"Sharded causalities piled up in the Heilbronn margin, singularity refusing to play with any of them… oh, the Universe is a messy place."
"It's worth it. All of the headaches and frustration and being wrong over and over is worth it."
"The hours I spent struggling to understand Eternalism, and here you are, embodying it."
"They hunt you, don't they? The Angels? Do they ever say anything to you?"
"It's funny how we're both Void constructs, sort of. Difference being that I'm dead [laughs, sighs]. Not your fault."
"Somewhere there's a version of me who stayed behind on Lua, and I hate her."
"Do you ever just wish you were a cephalon, so you could switch bits of you off?"
"Please be kind. My head is very noisy right now."
"This place is like an embassy. Playing host to misfit realities that were never chosen."
(if the Tenno has just reached the rank Angel) "This… is the first time being alive has really felt like being alive, for me. I'm intact. Recovered. Like some complicated, fragile relic gently lifted up from the earth and brushed clean of all the dirt. [long sigh] If I'm not careful, I could end up saying something very stupid and rash. So I won't. I'll just say thank you."
(if the Tenno is rank Angel) "There will never be another Archimedian Symposium. No more waiting, petrified, to find out if it's you the Golden Lords are singling out this time."
(if the Tenno is rank Angel) "Rydal and Mohler, Kazirei, Suda, Tylan, Halako and Vrenn. [sighs] All the shining Archimedians. Where are they all now?"
(if the Tenno is rank Angel) "I had the Albrecht Entrati dream again. It's always the same. I ask him where he's gone, and he says 'Everywhere'. Then… he tears himself in half."
(if the Tenno is rank Angel) "I'd figured it out! How the Zariman could jump all the way to Tau in one big bold leap, disabling the safeties in sequence. If I had it to do again, we could make it."
(if the Tenno is rank Angel) "I never liked to stay too long in the Reliquary Drive chamber, even when I was alive. I kept thinking I could see myself out the corner of my eye, grinning."
(if the Tenno is rank Angel) "You've seen things in the Deep Void too, haven't you? Lashing like dragons and bellowing like giants?"
(if the Tenno is rank Angel) "I think you'd have liked me, back when I was human. I mean, I hope you would."
(if the Tenno is rank Angel) "Objects that have affected one another continue to affect one another even when they're separated. I've missed you."
(if the Tenno is rank Angel) "I wonder if I'll still be here at the heat death of the Universe, pondering the blue twilight."
Selecting an item to buy
"Reconstruction of the past is possible."
"Let's see what twisted wonders the Void has created."
"If you have specimens, I'm deeply interested."
"Whatever damage time has done, we can undo it."
Purchasing an item
"Ah, thank you."
"Fascinating!"
"Let's open this up."
Exiting wares without purchase
"I suppose you could always come back when you have something?"
"My patience is almost endless."
"Very well. Keep your secrets."
Bidding farewell
"Oh! Goodbye, then."
"I'll… see you later."
"Yes. Goodbye for now."
