The Infested Nightmares Bonus Weekend was a set of Alerts in August 2015.
Mission
The Infested Nightmares Bonus Weekend took place on the second weekend of August 2015, starting on Thursday. For the entire weekend, a Double Affinity booster was in effect, and certain Grineer-made weapons were 50% off in the Market, such as the Tonkor and Atomos.
During the weekend, four special Alert missions were available for 24 hours each, one per day.
- 13 August (Thursday): Ishtar, Venus. Reward: Orokin Catalyst blueprint and 10.000 credits.
- 14 August (Friday): Vallis, Mars. Reward: Orokin Reactor blueprint and 10.000 credits.
- 15 August (Saturday): Proteus, Neptune. Reward: Gorgon Wraith (with weapon slot and pre-installed Orokin Catalyst) and 20.000 credits.
- 16 August (Sunday): Thebe, Jupiter. Reward: 25 Rare rank 5 Fusion Cores (equivalent to roughly 2000 Endo) and 50.000 credits.
Each of the Alerts were 10-minute Survival missions titled "Survive or DIE" (except the Proteus mission, which was a 20-wave Defence). They took place on the Corpus Ship tileset, with the lights off. The Infested enemies dealt pure Toxin damage instead of their normal damage types, bypassing shields.
