Amir Dialogue: Hell-Scrub

Warframe: 1999 promo image

Amir guides the Tenno during Hell-Scrub missions against Scaldra in Höllvania. These missions operate identically to Survival missions on other tilesets and in other locations, with the added complication that life support towers (named "Hell-Scrubbers" in Höllvania) will become corrupted over time if not used. The corruption must be destroyed periodically, or the Hell-Scrubber will transform into a Techrot Babau Eximus, which will drop a small amount of life support when killed. Höllvania Scaldra Hell-Scrub missions are only seen on a single mission node: Mischta Ramparts. Like all Höllvania missions, it can only be accessed after completing The Hex quest.

Mission start

"Scaldra tried to kill the spores in your area, but the Techrot just ate their Hell-Scrubbers for lunch. Let's see if we can make the Techrot give 'em back with a little code I've named puke.spew."

"Spore contamination rising. Gonna tickle the Techrot with a little bit of code I wrote. Make it spit up the Hell-Scrubbers that Scaldra lost when they tried to purge this area. Oh boy, Scaldra is going to be so P-O'd when they see us using their kit."

"Diagnosis: Spore contamination. Treatment: Hell-Scrubbers. Side-effects may include: release of deadly spores, homicidal filter buildup, and Scaldra troops trying to kill you for messing with their stuff."

When the first Hell-Scrubber appears

"Ahh… did I forget to mention that the scrubbers are prone to spore build-up that can spontaneously form a creature that'll absolutely bump your therapist up a tax bracket? Shoot off any build-up and you shouldn't have a problem."

"You know how mold can grow on your water filter if you don't clean it enough? Well… uh… shoot any build-up off the Hell-Scrubbers unless you want to get unsubscribed from life."

"Remember that chili con carne I left in the fridge for two months? Let the Hell-Scrubbers sit too long and they'll spawn the same sort of thing, but, you know, with a crap-ton of predatory hardware. Shoot off any build-up before it converts you to past tense."

When a Hell-Scrubber gets crusted over

"Spores collecting on that scrubber. You need to shoot them off."

"Knock those pus sacs off that scrubber before they sprout a head."

"Scrubber overwhelmed. Spores… coalescing… into… mutant form. Do something!"

When Hell-Scrubber gets worse

"Scrubber going critical. Fix it or lose it to the Techrot… which will be the least of your problems."

"You're gonna lose that scrubber, bucko! If the build-up gets any worse it's gonna start making decisions."

"Do something about that scrubber before it does something about you."

When a Techrot Babau spawns

"I said shoot the pus off that… ughhh. Too late."

"I warned you. I totally warned you. And now it wants to have a conversation."

"I told you. I told you to clean your Hell-Scrubbers. Now look at what you have to deal with. Gosh, do I sound like my mom?"

Life support reminder

"Some Scaldra have been issued SporeX charges. Little bursts of filtration. Keep an eye out – they might save a life."

"Hey, don't forget, some Scaldra carry personal SporeX charges for their own safety. Not that they'll do them much good with you around."

First new Hell-Scrubber

"My code is… working! Hell-Scrubbers primed. Techrot regurgitating. Watch out for Scaldra; they want those Scrubbers back to protect their own bases."

"Code injected. Hell-Scrubbers emerging. Oooh, Scaldra just noticed what we're up to and they are p-i-s-s-ed."

"What's the matter, Techrot, got a little tummy ache? [laughs] Hell-Scrubber coming up. Whoop, Scaldra noticed too. They're coming for you."

New Hell-Scrubber arrived

"Reactivating code. And success! Keep your eyes up for another Hell-Scrubber."

"Priming another Hell-Scrubber for regurgitation. Disgusting."

"Another Hell-Scrubber is wherever you are."

"Hell-Scrubber coming up near you."

Life support tower activated

"Hell-Scrubber activated. Contamination dropping."

"After months subsumed by Techrot, those Hell-Scrubbers still work? Who'd-a-thunk-it?"

"Breathing easier? I wouldn't get used to it."

Rotation reward granted

(first rotation) "While Scaldra is distracted, I'm taking the opportunity to make some new acquisitions. Like this. Don't worry, I'll share."

"Picked up a five-finger discount on this bad boy."

"Cha-ching."

"Check it out. All your base are belong to me."

"Scaldra really needs to keep better tabs on their stuff… 'someone' keeps stealing it."

"Ooh! This should come in handy."

"More goodies for us."

"They won't miss this. Actually… they probably will. Probably a lot."

"Ohp! Oh wow, I am learning some new bad words on the Scaldra comms."

"Psst. You keep fighting, and I keep yoinking. See?"

"Can you believe they just left this in an armour-plated heavily guarded safe? Yoink."

"Don't mind if I do."

"Got a present for you."

"You're fighting to make Höllvania more liveable, but also for this little goodie."

When extraction is available

"You've done enough. Marking extraction. I mean, you could do more. A lot more. You've really just done the minimum at this point."

"Extraction is ready. I can't ask you to fight any longer… but… if you wanted to fight longer… I wouldn't say no."

"Extraction's open. But it wouldn't be very much fun if you left now."

When life support is down to 40%

"You got a minute to get a Hell-Scrubber working."

"Contamination is off the charts. You need to hustle."

"Spore count is approaching terminally unfun levels. Activate another Hell-Scrubber."

When life support is down to 20%

"Thirty seconds and you're swimming in spore soup."

"Running out of time. Get to the scrubber."

"It's getting toxic out there. Hurry."

(if extraction is available) "Spore levels critical. There's no coming back from this. Get out of there."

(if extraction is available) "Head directly to extraction. Do not pass go, do not collect 200 Höllars."

(if extraction is available) "Game over, man. Game over. Get to extraction."
