Operation: Eight Claw

25 June 2025 – 16 July 2025
Operation
On Wednesday (25 June 2025), Operation: Eight Claw was released with Update 39 and was set to run for 3 weeks. Upon logging in, the Tenno received an inbox message from Dominus Thrax.
Inbox message:
A Missive From His Majesty DOMINUS THRAXTo the erstwhile traitor and conspirator known by the alias 'Drifter':
While you were off on your FRIVOLOUS VENTURES, the Lost Island of Scholar's Landing returned, bringing with it that MENACE of the VOID of which the Scholar spoke.
That SHE-DEMON has usurped Our Throne. She must be STOPPED.
I await you on board the 'Zariman' for a most urgent conference.
His Radiant and Eternal Majesty,
DOMINUS THRAX
Completion of The Hex quest was required for participation in the event. The event appeared in the World State Window as Operation: Eight Claw, with the description "Recover stolen Dominus Aureus to take down Neci Rusalka and return Dominus Thrax to his throne! Obtain them from Operation: Eight Claw spirals in Duviri. Visit Thrax in the Dormizone to exchange Dominus Aureus for rewards. Invictus Signas will be unlocked as the community returns stolen Aureus to Thrax."
The World State Window marked the time remaining for the event, listed the trophy tier the player's clan was currently eligible for, and tracked community progress of Dominus Aureus collection. At certain benchmarks, versions of the Invictus ephemera became available for purchase in the event store.
Mechanics and missions
The event was played by running the new variant of Duviri introduced in Update 39, known as Isleweaver. On the Duviri mission selection page, there was a new option labelled "Isleweaver". This variant and its gameplay would persist after the event was concluded.

Isleweaver Duviri instances featured mission control dialogue from Dominus Thrax and Mathila, with frequent taunting from Major Neci Rusalka. More information on Isleweaver mechanics, as well as comprehensive dialogue, can be found at the respective dialogue pages:
After completing a run of Isleweaver, in addition to the normal resources/blueprints and Scuttler Husks that are typically rewarded from Isleweaver, the Tenno also received an additional reward of 18 – 22 Dominus Aureus, or 22 – 26 Aureus on the Steel Path. Dominus Aureus were the event currency used to purchase rewards, and were described as "Stolen golden seals emblematic of royal authority in Duviri. Return them to restore Dominus Thrax to the throne."
Rewards
During the event, Dominus Thrax appeared in the Tenno's Dormizone on board the Zariman. Here, the Tenno could turn in the Dominus Aureus they had collected in exchange for rewards, using the option "Return Dominus Aureus". These rewards included: the Phelonyx Parazon skin, a sigil and emblem for the event, Pathos Clamps, and the Invictus, Invictus Emergent, and Invictus Apex signas. Additionally, items from Operation: Belly of the Beast were available, including the Ceti Lacera blueprint, Basmu blueprint, Ballroom Simulacrum, Gilded/Glyphed/Phased Clan sigils, the Fluctus Rahk skin, Prominence Wisp Totem, and an array of uncommon, rare, and legendary Eidolon Arcane enhancements. For this event specifically, Arcanes were limited to 21 per player (enough for a full set). Pathos Clamps were similarly limited to a maximum of 100.
The Invictus signas were originally not available for purchase (but could be viewed in the shop). Community progress on spending Dominus Aureus was tracked on the event panel in the World State Window on a meter labelled "Dominus Aureus Collection Progress". When the meter reached 30%, the Invictus signa was unlocked for purchase. When the meter reached 60%, the Invictus Emergent signa was unlocked for purchase. And once the meter reached 90%, the final Invictus Apex signa was made available for purchase in the event shop.
Clan trophies were rewarded after the event, with the trophy tier based on the number of Dominus Aureus spent by all members of the clan, scaling with clan tier according to the following table:

Dominus Thrax also had another option, "Exchange Scuttler Husks". This allowed the Tenno to trade in Scuttler Husks (the non-event, permanent reward currency for running Isleweaver) to Thrax in exchange for blueprints for Oraxia and her weapons, along with the new Thalys scythe and Isleweaver Captura scenes. Acrithis also had the new option to exchange Scuttler Husks for the same rewards, and would be the permanent vendor for Scuttler Husks after the event concluded, but during the event, the Tenno could trade these resources to Dominus Thrax as well.
During the event, Dominus Thrax had special dialogue when interacting with him in the Dormizone.
Idle quotes
"This is far enough. I shall manifest no further in. Not without my Centurions."
"Think not that I stand alone! My legions would come if I summoned them!"
"This hovering fortress should be mine. Are the skies over Duviri not part of Duviri?"
"For years this place has mocked me from above, and now through sheer force of will, I have reached it!"
"I claim this proud steel bastion in the name of Thrax. Perhaps next I'll venture beyond the Wall."
"Such a wretched place to be raised in."
"How Bombastine will envy me for this bold expedition."
"Automated servants! How cheap. Though… loyal."
Greeting the Tenno
(greeting the Drifter for the first time) "The entity the Scholar warned of, the Wall's other face. It's here! It broke into Mathila's spiral. It sits on my throne and mocks me! We have to stop her, Drifter. Fighting together, side by side, like the old days. For our people. I shall await you in person, in the hermit's hovel."
(greeting another player's Drifter for the first time) "You are a cohort of the sometime traitor who styles themself 'the Drifter', are you not? Bid them return to Duviri with all speed. There is a usurper upon the King's throne."
"I suspect you know what meddling beyond the Wall has brought her here."
"Break her control, or hers will be the only Duviri there has ever been!"
"There is still time to stop her. Hurry, before this ink fades away on the page!"
"You defied a King. Now stand beside that King to defy a God."
"We are glad you have moved beyond petty grudges."
"Do not forget: we were friends once."
Idling while browsing wares
"That thing on my throne? Whatever face it wears now, it was here before Duviri. It means to devour me."
"I will spit in its leering face! Effigy of dust! Mutilated Void-dog!"
"She weaves the strands of Khra to tether her false Duviri to the true. You must be bold, like I taught you."
"She can't change the story. It's written. Finished. Done."
"I hear angel song. What a cursed cradle you were rocked in."
"I warned you not to leave! Where was your sword-arm when the usurper came?"
"All that lamentation about the executions, and yet here you are, none the worse for them!"
"You tried to rebel, as children always do, but I taught you respect. In a way, I was your real father, wasn't I?"
"Mathila will not betray me. She knows what I do to conspirators."
"The Dominus Aureus is the sacred symbol of my dominion. I need them back. Every last one!"
"Return every Dominus Aureus, and her hold on the throne shall crumble."
Exiting shop after purchase
"Good."
"We are satisfied."
"You do not entirely want for wisdom."
"Very well."
"May it aid you in our fight."
"Yes. Indeed."
Exiting shop without purchase
"I shall not haggle like a mere merchant!"
"This is what there is."
"Have you not learned the folly of pride?"
"Perhaps Acrithis has some bauble to tempt you."
"Time is wasting."
"As you wish."
Bidding farewell
"Do not wander far. You are needed."
"Remember what the Scholar told us. The Fragmented Ones tether down the Strands of Khra that weave her false Duviri. Get to the heart of her power, call forth the beast, then kill it."
"Duviri raised you. Answer her call."
"Do right by our Kingdom."
"We only have days in which to stop her."
"We shall look favourably upon your loyalty."
"Remember what the Scholar said. It mocks us because it fears us."
"Remember: the hermit's hovel."
Aftermath
This event is still ongoing.
