Den of Kubrow was a Tactical Alert in May of 2015, involving enhanced vampiric kubrow.
Mission
On Thursday (14 May), the alert became available and was present for the weekend. The Tenno received an inbox message from the Lotus.
Inbox message:
Den of KubrowTenno,
Our spies report that a huge cache of Strun Wraith shotguns has been uncovered on Earth. The Grineer have tried to seize the guns but were pushed back by a vicious colony of feral kubrow.
Go to Earth and secure the weapons before the Grineer can come back with a larger force.
Resistance from the colony will be fierce, so I have sent you a Kubrow Starter Kit. Nurture this creature, as a Tenno can always use a companion to watch their back.

This message contained a Kubrow Starter Kit, which includes a kubrow egg, incubator power core, pack of 6 DNA stabilisers, stasis slot, and genetic code template.
The mission was an Exterminate mission on the Grineer Forest tileset on Earth, against standard Grineer enemies. There was no Conclave rating restriction, but only melee weapons could be brought into the mission. The entire map was covered in heavy fog, greatly reducing visibility. The feral kubrow had glowing red eyes and lifesteal attacks. Although the Extermination meter for the mission counted Grineer enemies, the mission score was based on the number of feral kubrow killed. The mission score was cumulative across multiple missions. Upon acquiring 100 points, the Tenno received an inbox message from the Lotus, containing a Strun Wraith.

Afterwards, the enemy level on the Tactical Alert increased slightly. Upon acquiring a total of 300 points, the Tenno received an inbox message with a Stratos emblem and the Bite mod.

Mission AccomplishedYou went above the call of duty today, Tenno. The skill you displayed will inspire your fellow warriors. Wear this, so that they will know what has been achieved here today.

The Tactical Alert also coincided with a Credit booster that Tenno had to enable by using the promo code "DENOFKUBROW".
A few days after the Tactical Alert ended, the Tenno received an inbox message from the Lotus containing the Atrox Fur Pattern for kubrow, along with the Ki'Teer Grey, Star White, and Wyrm Blue kubrow fur colour gene-masks.

During your conflict with feral kubrow on Earth, I was able to extract a unique genetic mutation from the wild beasts. I have sent you a sample of this genetic code so that you may imbue your own kubrow with the new pattern.
Also, to aid in maturing your companion, I have enabled global Resources, Affinity, and Drop Chances at double the rate for all Tenno. Make use of this gift while it lasts.

As noted in the message, there was an Affinity booster, Resource booster, and Resource Drop Chance booster active from 21 May (Thursday) to 24 May (Sunday). From 21 May to 26 May (Tuesday) there was a buy-one-get-one-free sale in the Market on Orokin Reactors, Orokin Catalysts, Orokin Cells, and mod packs and Fusion Core packs. Any Tenno who purchased any of these items received an additional one for no extra cost.
