Dominus Thrax Dialogue: Isleweaver
Isleweaver is a variant of Duviri that takes place during The Indifference's breach of the Joy Spiral. It takes place in a greatly reduced map area that consists only of Thrax's Island. Across the bridge which typically leads to the mainland hamlets is instead the newly returned Lost Island of Scholar's Landing, a massive edifice of Murmur stone and Entrati décor. All other islands in Duviri are missing. The civilian inhabitants of Duviri are missing, many of their dead bodies being visible throughout Castle Town. Murmur enemies are liable to spawn in randomly. When they do so on Thrax's Island, they will be fought by squads of Dax who are allied to the Tenno. Entrati-themed resource containers can be found around the map alongside the typical Duviri ones; these will drop Entrati resources including the new Temporal Dust, as will Murmur enemies when slain.
Teshin's Cave
When the Tenno initiates an Isleweaver run, they will begin in Teshin's Cave as normal. However, Teshin is not present, instead being replaced by Dominus Thrax himself, with a variety of idle dialogue lines.
"Dominus Thrax is king of all Duviri! So it is written, and so it must be."
"To think Teshin grew old hiding from me here! In this flea-pit!"
"Duviri is mine. I bow to no false gods or mocking angels."
"She is slaughtering my people! As if they did not matter!"
"It's broken through before. But never like this."
"You must sever her hold on Duviri. Thread by thread by thread."
"She doesn't belong here. She's not even in the book."
"If she cannot be banished, she must be contained."
"The Scholar told us what to do. Shut her up in the Apocrypha."
"Contain her here. Seal her twisted story up!"
"Why does she torture Mathila so? There are rules! You stop when it stops being funny!"
"She mocks me. Sends me nightmares. Shows me myself, stripped of my armour, torn to pieces. Screaming endlessly."
"If you see the Scholar again, tell him his work was not finished here! Why did he abandon us?"
"Do not trust the Spider. It serves the Scholar no more."
(if the Tenno speaks to Thrax) "Remember what the Scholar told us. The Fragmented Ones tether down the Strands of Khra that weave her false Duviri. Get to the heart of her power, call forth the beast, then kill it."
Like normal Duviri runs, the Tenno can select from a random assortment of warframes and weapons. However, unlike normal Duviri gameplay, the Tenno may utilise their warframe for the entire session. Typical Drifter combat is not present in Isleweaver (although the Tenno may Transfer to their Drifter/Operator as they would in typical Origin System gameplay).
Indifference Spiral
In Duviri, the Spiral's tasks were assigned by either Dominus Thrax or Mathila. These tasks are identical to normal Duviri tasks, but with Murmur- or Entrati-themed appearances; for example, Duviri chests being replaced with Murmur Sarcophages. The Murmur are the enemy faction; any Dax that appear are friendly to the Tenno.
The 5th stage of every Spiral will always be to fight the warframe Oraxia in the bowels of Scholar's Landing. Undercroft missions are limited to Alchemy, Exterminate, Survival, and Void Flood. The final fight at the end of the Spiral is not against an Orowyrm but instead against a Fragmented envoy, which will be joined by a second Fragmented envoy in the third stage of the fight.
(Banish Murmur and retrieve essence) Dominus Thrax: "The shrines are symbols of my divine right to rule! How dare that thing pollute them!"
(Banish Murmur and retrieve essence) Dominus Thrax: "Those shrines were here before she came and they will still be here after we cast her back into the Void. Cleanse the Shrine of her influence!"
(Banish the Murmur) Dominus Thrax: "These Murmur. They're nothing but horrid old stone! I'm not afraid of them! SMASH THEM TO BITS!"
(Banish the Murmur) Dominus Thrax: "You're the one with the weapons, and the war-suits, not me. So you have to make the Murmur go away."
(Defeat the Murmur guarding the treasure) Dominus Thrax: "She slaughters my people and takes their possessions! Get them back, Drifter. I'll bury them alongside the honoured dead."
(Defeat the Murmur guarding the treasure) Dominus Thrax: "She has no right to my people's goods. Return them, so the survivors can benefit."
(Energise the shrine) Mathila: "Remnants of the King's power remain, locked away in the Royal Mazes where she cannot reach. Find them!"
(Energise the shrine) Mathila: "We have to delve deep, beyond the madness. Unlock the reserves the Scholar instructed us to keep!"
(Enter the Undercroft) Dominus Thrax: "Thank the Void, the Undercroft portals remain open. Use one!"
(Enter the Undercroft) Dominus Thrax: "You have to burn her influence out at the very roots. If that means sending you into the Undercroft, then so be it."
(Enter the Undercroft) Dominus Thrax: "We need to cut this whole embodiment of Duviri loose. I authorise you to enter the Undercroft."
(Enter the Undercroft) Dominus Thrax: "Descend into the Undercroft. [sigh] I permit it. For now."
(Enter the Undercroft) Dominus Thrax: "Her underbelly is weak. Exposed. To the Undercroft!"
(Enter the Undercroft) Dominus Thrax: "Into the Undercroft, quickly!"
(Find the hidden chest) Mathila: "There were people here. She… unmade them. You have to find what they left!"
(Find the hidden chest) Mathila: "The Scholar knew this day was coming. He prepared for it. Hid things. Find them!"
(Guide your reflection into the light) Mathila: "This isn't enough. We need to call in more help. From you. Another you."
(Guide your reflection into the light) Mathila: "There are two creatures that look very much like you out there. Find the wholesome one and keep the other at bay!"
(Locate the eyes of Indifference) Mathila: "The wise Paragrimms were the Scholar's friends. Look through their eyes to find the eyes of the beast!"
(Locate the eyes of Indifference) Mathila: "Approach the Paragrimm. Do not fear the wide eyes or the gaping beak. They will help you see her eyes."
(Open the chest and defeat its guardian) Dominus Thrax: "She's hidden her servants all over my kingdom. She thinks I'm stupid enough to open that chest. Ha! You do it."
(Open the chest and defeat its guardian) Dominus Thrax: "The Murmur are lurking everywhere. Waiting to ambush me. I don't like the look of that chest!"
(Purge the darkened areas of Liminus) Dominus Thrax: "She's taunting me. Just like Sythel said. Raising old ghosts out of the earth. Go down there and stop them!"
(Purge the darkened areas of Liminus) Dominus Thrax: "I'm not afraid. Really, I'm not. I just need those shades banished. That's all. I'll be right as rain after that."
(Reconnect the power lines) Mathila: "We need every scrap of armament we can find! Get this working, whatever it is!"
(Reconnect the power lines) Mathila: "Look what she's driven me to. Assembling weapons. And me, a loving mother! Can you get it done?"
(Find Oraxia's lair) Dominus Thrax: "Oraxia. The Scholar's pet. I heard the Usurper imitating his voice. The spider is her servant now."
(Find Oraxia's lair) Dominus Thrax: "The spider's helping her! It's keeping this false Duviri tethered to my kingdom! Cut it down!"
(after completing the Spiral's tasks) Dominus Thrax: "Her grip weakens at last. Call forth the beast that binds her to Duviri."
(after completing the Spiral's tasks) Dominus Thrax: "She is vulnerable! Get to the heart of the corruption!"
Completion of an Isleweaver run rewards the Tenno with 16 – 20 Scuttler Husks (20 – 24 on the Steel Path), 10 Pathos Clamps (15 on the Steel Path), and one item from the following: a blueprint for Oraxia, her weapons, a component thereof, 20 Temporal Dust, or 8 Enigma Gyrum. Scuttler Husks can be traded to Acrithis to purchase blueprints for Oraxia and her weapons, along with the Thalys heavy scythe and a selection of Isleweaver Captura scenes.
During Operation: Eight Claw, which introduced the game mode, Isleweaver runs also rewarded 18 – 22 Dominus Aureus (22 – 26 on the Steel Path). These served as the event currency and could be turned in to Dominus Thrax for event rewards.
